Filling Concrete is a flowable, foamy, aerated concrete exhibiting low density (about 1,750 kg/m3). This concrete is especially suitable for refilling road excavations, for example, when pipe systems are to be laid. Filling concrete is easily processable and does not need any compaction measures by means of vibration or the like. Discharged directly from the mixer, the flowable fresh concrete is cast onto the piping or cabling system until the desired concrete surface level has been reached. After about 24 hours, it has hardened to such an extent that the asphalt cover can be placed onto it. The hardened concrete exhibits a high level of stability and thus prevents the occurrence of later setting. On account of its excellent water permeability, it can also be used for drainage systems.
